Sr Buyer/Planner

Job Summary
Sr Buyer/Planner responsible for sourcing, purchasing, planning and scheduling movement of raw materials, packaging, components, services, and finished goods to ensure smooth production. Coordinate with production, warehouse, and engineering to ensure materials availability, monitor supplier performance, analyze price trends, and optimize costs while meeting schedules. Requires Bachelor's degree (or higher) and 7+ years of relevant experience (5+ with advanced degree); manufacturing experience and strong analytical and organizational skills are preferred. Location is Cartago, Costa Rica; in-person role at a new manufacturing site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
- 7+ years of relevant procurement/planning experience OR advanced degree with 5+ years
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Cross-functional collaboration experience
- Experience with supplier performance monitoring
- Data-driven decision making
- Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, purchasing, and scheduling
