Job Summary
Senior Buyer responsible for managing procurement activities to optimize cost, maintain strong supplier relationships, and drive cross-functional collaboration. Develop and communicate purchasing policies, negotiate favorable terms, assess supplier risks, conduct market analysis, onboard and evaluate suppliers, maintain contract management processes, and provide data-driven insights using ERP and analytics tools. Requires advanced communication, negotiation, risk management, and collaboration skills; travel up to 10%.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 6+ years of purchasing or related experience
- ERP system experience
- Ability to lead teams and influence peers and other cross-functional teams; strong communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS Degree, Oracle ERP and COUPA Knowledge of SWS, Quicksight and Tableau a plus, Agile Documentation System, Commodity knowledge including Electrical and Mechanical Material in a manufacturing environment, CPM or CPSM Certification
