Job Summary
Manage Finished Goods demand, replenishment planning, and delivery schedules with Production Plants while balancing sales requirements against inventory policies. Process purchase requisitions in SAP, create POs for finished goods and raw materials, and monitor open orders to resolve delivery performance issues. Read and execute MRP output weekly, set inventory levels, and proactively identify aging risks to prevent expired goods. Lead cross-functional process improvement projects, mentor junior staff, and prepare variance reports and presentations for management. Collaborate closely with Sales, customers, and Production Planners to resolve supply chain issues and ensure risk mitigation across the global supply chain.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years combined Planning and/or Purchasing experience
- ERP – SAP
- 5+ years of experience working directly with Sales and/or other customer facing teams
- Experience working directly with customers/end users
- Experience leading cross functional meetings & project teams
- Experience working within the parameters of contractual agreements
- understanding of customer and supplier specifications
- customer or final product forecasting
- ISO 9000 or similar QMS
- Strong organizational skills

- ability to influence others
- Experience assessing and driving corrective actions in system health & performance
- Experience negotiating with multiple parties and/or conflicting objectives
- MS Office Fluent
- Import/Export related experience
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Candidates being considered for hire must pass a pre-employment drug test
