Job Summary
Sr. Business Ops Specialist at o9 Solutions supporting enterprise planning implementations. Responsibilities include engaging in business requirement discussions with customers to identify, analyze, and document process gaps; advising on industry best practices using o9 Reference Models; assisting in solution design with wireframes/prototypes; leading sessions with technical/functional teams to resolve design challenges; configuring workflows in the o9 platform and performing unit testing; leading teams to develop UAT stories and conducting UAT for solution deployment; developing training materials and delivering in-person and remote training; creating Excel-based models and PowerPoint presentations to explain features; providing post-go-live hypercare support; architecting data pipelines for big data integrations with delta lake; designing and implementing supply chain planning solutions; guiding full lifecycle delivery including go-live and value realization; applying agile methods and leveraging statistical/optimization/simulation skills (R, SAS, CPLEX); utilizing spreadsheets, word processors, and presentations; applying database and programming skills (SQL Server, MySQL; SQL/MDX/T-SQL); applying data mining techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree (or foreign equivalent) in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, or Management of Technology
- 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation implementing supply chain planning solutions
- 1 year of experience leading or assisting a team through the full lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution implementation including business requirement gathering, solution design & development, UAT/SIT, go-live/cutover, and value realization
- experience utilizing agile methodology to deliver large scale enterprise implementations
- experience applying statistical, optimization, and simulation skills using tools such as R, SAS, and CPLEX
- proficiency with spreadsheet and software tools (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets; Microsoft Word; Google Docs; PowerPoint)
- experience with databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and programming in SQL, MDX, and/or T-SQL
- experience with analytical techniques and data mining
