Job Summary
Achieve budgeted goals for the area of accountability and support the account team in developing sales plans. Execute new strategic initiatives for assigned categories while fostering thought leadership within the team. Demonstrate functional expertise in Private Brand & Branding through on-the-job development and networking opportunities. Own director-level relationships with assigned customers and suppliers, effectively negotiating commission rates to grow revenue. Attract, develop, and retain key talent to enable collective goal execution, ensuring succession plans are in place for critical roles. Manage resources at the account level and allocate time for top relationships. This role involves overseeing a single account or key categories within a larger brokerage business, bridging the gap between manufacturers and retailers in the food and consumer packaged goods industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience
- 5+ Years of experience in building and nurturing brands; private brand management
- Basic Computer Skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, & web browsers
- Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills

- Excellent Customer Service Skills

- Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
