Job Summary
Senior Sr. Business Banker at Citi responsible for managing and retaining Citibank’s >$1MM relationships and supporting credit originations >$250K. Focus areas include deposits, cash management, credit, and day-to-day needs; lead and model for market, drive retention, credit quality, growth, annual reviews, site visits, and collaboration with Credit Risk; provide subject-matter expertise for complex credit inquiries, including credit real estate lending; develop consistent sales cadence, manage portfolio, drive sales production, and contribute to risk management and regulatory compliance including KYC/AML; build knowledge for complex deals, assess risk, and develop full credit structures for exposures >$250MM; stay informed on market trends and competitive landscape, deliver timely insights and opportunities, and ensure adherence to Citi policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years banking experience
- 5+ years in Business Banking (preferred)
- Mortgage loan originator registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and obtaining a unique identifier
- Bachelor’s/University degree (required)
- Master’s degree preferred (education)
- Exceptional consulting skills; ability to probe, listen, clarify and present information to advance sales transactions
- Analytical skills; ability to assimilate complex financial and operating information
- Knowledge of KYC/AML and regulatory compliance
