Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst/PM for Asset Management IT to lead product requirements and roadmap for AM platforms (OMS, PMS), ensuring regulatory alignment and end-to-end integration with upstream/downstream systems. Responsibilities include coordinating with business stakeholders to define data administration and governance, owning and coordinating UAT/testing cycles, documenting requirements, and driving process improvements. Requires strong asset management workflow knowledge (order management, portfolio lifecycle, NAV calculation, client reporting), compliance awareness (SFC, CSRC, cross-border data rules), English and Mandarin communication, hands-on testing experience, and familiarity with databases, APIs, and development practices (CI/CD). Proactive, self-motivated, and able to collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and IT teams; experience with Python/Java/C#/JavaScript and data issues a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or higher in IT or Business disciplines
- Around 5-8 years experience as a BA/PM or similar role, Asset Management focus
- Strong understanding of Asset Management workflows: order management, portfolio management, trade lifecycle, reconciliation, NAV calculation, client reporting
- Familiarity with data governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements (SFC, CSRC, cross-border data transfer)
- Excellent communication in English and Mandarin
- Hands-on experience in system testing and UAT with test scripts
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Ability to coordinate with development teams and manage defect resolution
- Experience with databases (SQL), APIs, scripting, and some programming languages (Python/Java/C#/JavaScript)
- Self-motivated in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to work with Compliance and Risk teams
- Knowledge of CI/CD and version control would be a strong plus
