Sr Billing Specialist

Sr Billing Specialist responsible for assembling and maintaining billing documentation, keeping the billing system database, identifying and reconciling data discrepancies, posting to sub ledgers, coordinating account eligibility with Membership, providing billing information to internal and external contacts, and handling first-line collections. Requires professional and timely communication with internal/external customers. Fully proficient with daily tasks and capable of handling more complex billing scenarios with minimal guidance and offering recommendations for decision making. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of billing and collections experience; an AS in accounting is preferred. Infusion Therapy experience is highly preferred. The role operates within Elevance Health’s hybrid workforce strategy, with at least weekly in-person presence to the assigned location where applicable, and potential travel as part of onboarding/training.
