Job Summary
Senior Backend Engineer role across two teams (Infrastructure Team and Data Feeds Team). Responsibilities include ERP data connector implementation ensuring high availability, backend API development and upgrades, ERP data storage improvements, business-technical liaison to translate requirements into technical solutions, ongoing service maintenance and governance, and collaboration with global teams. For Data Feeds Team, responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring data system stability and availability, designing expandable data architectures, delivering high-quality data services, aligning data design with product requirements, overseeing third-party data integrations, and enforcing data governance, security, and compliance. This is a fully remote opportunity based in India with standard hours 8 am–5 pm IST. You are likely to succeed if you have a 10+ year backend background, proficiency in Go/Python, experience with databases and data processing technologies, and cloud exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years backend experience
- Proficiency in Go or Python
- Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores (MySQL, Redis, etc.)
- Familiarity with ElasticSearch or Spark (Data Feeds Team)
- Experience in architecture and developing large-scale distributed systems (Infrastructure Team)
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes/Docker, Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong data pipeline and API development skills
- Ability to work with global teams (US/SG/China) and align across time zones
