Job Summary
Senior Backend Engineer (Hybrid) to design, develop, and maintain large-scale backend services for CrowdStrike's Kestrel platform using Go and Python. You will collaborate with multiple backend and UI teams to deliver scalable, observable, and secure backend features, mentor fellow engineers, and help drive architecture improvements, testing coverage, and production readiness. Role is hybrid with in-office collaboration in NYC or Toronto twice per week.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science (or commensurate experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems)
- Ability to scale backend systems
- Experience with Go/Golang and distributed backend design
- Strong collaboration and mentoring skills
- Experience with testing, CI, and resilient architectures
