Job Summary
Own end-to-end development of Eats Merchant services using diverse technologies to ensure site reliability for a seamless shopping experience. Build and maintain core systems for thousands of merchants that directly influence customer choices, while collaborating with business stakeholders to drive growth in a fast-changing environment. Work within a truly global organization spanning Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, and San Francisco to deliver innovative experiences for consumers, merchants, and delivery partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems, system design, and algorithms
- 4+ years of coding experience in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Strong object-oriented programming skills and proficiency in Java or similar languages
- Proven experience designing, building, and operating large-scale services
- Ability to diagnose issues aggressively and solve problems creatively
- Proficiency with AWS and Spring Framework
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce or O2O (Online-to-Offline) industries
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in logistics for large-scale services with complex business offerings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Development experience related to location-based services or logistics
