Job Summary
Senior Automotive Technician position diagnosing vehicles and performing advanced repairs to MAP guidelines and dealership/manufacturer standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicles, performing multi-point inspections, completing heavy-duty repairs, explaining diagnoses and recommended services to customers or service staff, documenting recommendations, adhering to safety procedures, and occasionally working flexible schedules including weekends. Requires ASE certifications (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and a High School diploma or technical training. The role offers competitive pay ($30.00–$45.00 per hour), comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement. Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required
- ASE certifications in lieu of experience
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license (in applicable locations) within 30 days of hire date
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred
