Job Summary
Senior Automotive Technician responsible for diagnosing vehicles and performing advanced repairs to MAP, dealership, manufacturer, and company standards. Diagnose and repair with accuracy and efficiency; communicate technical findings to managers, service consultants, and customers; document recommendations in customer files; adhere to safety procedures; flexible scheduling including weekends as needed. Requires ASE certifications or equivalent experience, valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; opportunities for advancement. Wage range: $30.00-$45.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required
- ASE certifications in lieu of experience
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license (in applicable locations) within 30 days of hire date
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred
