Job Summary
Senior Automotive Technician needed to diagnose and repair customer vehicles to MAP guidelines and dealership, manufacturer, and company repair standards. Perform complex/heavy-duty repairs, run multi-point inspections, and clearly explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and store staff. Utilize computerized diagnostics, adhere to safety procedures, and maintain documentation. Requires ASE certifications or equivalent experience, valid driver’s license, and HS diploma or technical training; role based in Fort Worth, TX with Sun Auto Tire & Service, offering competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required
- ASE certifications in lieu of experience
- Valid Driver’s license
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license (in applicable locations) within 30 days of hire date
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred
