Sr Automotive Technician

Senior Automotive Technician at Sun Auto Tire & Service diagnosed and repaired customer vehicles with accuracy and efficiency, performing complex and heavy-duty repairs in accordance with MAP guidelines, dealership, manufacturer, and company repair standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing vehicles with appropriate certifications/experience, completing multi-point inspections/repair orders, explaining diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and store staff, recommending services to maintain vehicle condition, and adhering to safety procedures. Requires use of computerized diagnostic equipment, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain a State Inspector license within 30 days where applicable. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school experience preferred. ASE certifications are accepted in lieu of experience.
