Job Summary
Senior Automotive Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles to MAP guidelines and dealership/manufacturer repair standards; performs multi-point inspections and complex/heavy-duty repairs, explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff, documents recommendations, and adheres to safety procedures while working a flexible schedule (including weekends). Requires ASE certifications or equivalent experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a State Inspector license where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required
- ASE certifications in lieu of experience
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license (in applicable locations) within 30 days of hire date
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred
