Job Summary
Senior Automotive Technician responsible for diagnosing vehicles to MAP/dealership standards, performing advanced diagnostics and heavy-duty repairs, documenting findings and recommended services, and explaining needed work to customers and store staff. Must follow safety procedures, adhere to company policies, and participate in a flexible schedule including weekends. Role requires use of computerized diagnostic equipment, ASE certifications (or experience), a valid driver's license, and compliance with state inspector requirements where applicable. Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required
- ASE certifications in lieu of experience
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license within 30 days of hire date
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred
