Job Summary
Sr. Automation Engineer responsible for leading the design, commissioning, startup, qualification, validation, training and operation of CO2 Cold Room/Refrigeration systems across Manufacturing, Packaging and Warehouse operations. Acts as SME for cold room systems, collaborates with QA, CSV, Packaging, Manufacturing and IT/OT to maintain GxP compliance, and drives continuous improvement in cold room automation and integration. Requires travel ~30% and a BS in Engineering with extensive industrial refrigeration/CO2 cold room experience. Also works with external vendors to ensure contracts and deliverables meet requirements.
Required Qualifications
- BS in engineering
- 10+ years in Industrial Refrigeration and Cold room Design
- 5+ years in CO2 cold room design and operation
- Proficiency in Automated processes, technologies and systems deployment and adoption
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and validation processes
- Experience in regulated environments (GMP, OSHA, EPA)
- Willingness to travel (30%)
- Fluent in English
