Sr. Associate Supplier Management & Performance Analysis

Job Summary
Monitor supplier key performance indicators, service metrics, and operational deliverables to identify trends, risks, and data gaps. Consolidate performance information into dashboards, summaries, and meeting materials while coordinating Supplier Functional Management Team agendas and action logs. Execute purchase order closeout activities, track shipping requests for investigational products, and manage supplier onboarding documentation. Develop project plans, action logs, and risk trackers to support SMPA initiatives and process improvements. Maintain accurate supplier databases, trackers, and compliant documentation in electronic document management systems. Coordinate meetings with R&D functional teams, supplier governance partners, and external suppliers to ensure timely issue escalation and resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant R&D experience
- Demonstrated project or process management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Foundational knowledge of supplier management, procurement, contracting, or R&D operations
Desired Qualifications
- Four or more years of experience in the life sciences industry
- At least two years of experience in biopharmaceutical research and development
- Experience supporting supplier performance management, supplier governance, procurement, contracting, or outsourced services
- Experience monitoring key performance indicators, service-level measures, and supplier deliverables
- Familiarity with purchase orders, scopes of work, RFX processes, and supplier documentation
- Knowledge of Amgen systems and processes relevant to supplier management and performance analytics
- Experience with SharePoint, electronic document management systems, reporting tools, or workflow platforms
- Experience working in a global, matrixed, and cross-functional environment
