Job Summary
Sr Associate Software Engineer at Amgen responsible for design, development, and deployment of CIAM solutions with hands-on full-stack work across front-end and back-end, building APIs, and cloud-native deployments. Apply security best practices, deliver scalable web applications using React.js, Node.js/Express.js, Python, and database technologies; develop RESTful/GraphQL APIs; ensure cross-browser compatibility; leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps/CI-CD practices; participate in SAFE Agile ceremonies; provide mentorship and contribute to system architecture and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field OR Diploma in related field with 7-9 years of experience
- Hands-on experience with cloud services and well-architected cloud design principles
- Hands-on experience with full-stack software development
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, React.js/Node.js/Express.js
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Experience with API integration, serverless, microservices architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (preferred)
