Job Summary
Manage end-to-end production workflows for footwear and accessories, coordinating daily communications with overseas factories to ensure orders meet schedule, spec, and quality standards. Independently create, modify, and distribute purchase orders while tracking WIP reports, production timelines, and bulk material recaps. Negotiate costs, lead times, and production terms with suppliers, analyze cost breakdowns, and flag margin concerns during product reviews. Issue bulk purchase orders with ex-factory and delivery dates, monitor sample timing for CFM, wear tests, and TOPs, and assist with third-party QC processes. Code production invoices, manage style numbers in Fashion Flow, oversee color names in D365, and coordinate material testing with the Compliance team. This role supports the Footwear & Accessories team within rag & bone's inclusive, New York-based culture, focusing on originality and authentic British tailoring and American workwear principles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in production or product development in footwear or accessories
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, quality control, and industry standards
- Experience communicating with overseas vendors and factories
- Proficiency with WIP reporting, purchase order management, and costing tools
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Our in-office policy is in office, 4 days a week
