Job Summary
Senior Associate, Modeling & Simulation Engineer responsible for leading FEA efforts for surgical device R&D, performing advanced structural and dynamic simulations (linear/nonlinear, implicit/explicit, impact, transient, frequency) on complex multi-material systems, and developing multi-physics large-scale models for virtual prototyping. Will leverage Ansys Mechanical, LS-DYNA, and OptiStruct; validate results against experimental data; define project scope and timelines; collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues; support regulatory submissions and post-market analysis; drive innovation in simulation methods; mentor team members and deliver professional technical reports. This onsite role is based in Fort Worth, Texas, with sponsorship and relocation available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6 yrs.; M.S.+0 yrs.)
