Job Summary
Analyze complex technical tax issues, finalize withholding tax computations, and file individual tax returns for clients. Handle tax assessments, represent clients before authorities, and draft advisory memos while providing on-call advice. Prepare reports, keep clients updated on regulatory changes, and deliver assignments end-to-end with a focus on quality. Manage multiple client engagements, coordinate with senior leadership, and mentor junior team members. Assist in business development initiatives, including research and promotional activities. This role supports the Big Four firm's direct tax practice in Mumbai, engaging with high-impact clients and expanding opportunities within existing accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 4–6 years of relevant experience
- Law degree from a recognized university
- similar experience to CA
- Solid understanding of direct tax regulations
