Job Summary
Build digital tools to enhance manufacturing productivity by identifying key improvement opportunities and enabling robust data infrastructure for advanced analytics. Act as a data scientist to develop predictive models that optimize plant performance, while integrating AI and predictive analytics into business systems like MES and ERP. Lead project execution and governance for digital initiatives, delivering insights through visualization using SQL and Tableau to assess operational metrics. Partner with global teams to standardize solutions and justify digital investments through business cases aligned with strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school/GED + 4 years of engineering or computer science work experience
- Associate's + 2 years of engineering or computer science work experience
- Bachelor's + 6 months of engineering or computer science work experience
- Master's Preferred Qualifications: Experience with command-line programming or scripting using one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, or similar)
- Strong understanding of data structures with the ability to build analytical models that generate actionable insights
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to translate business needs into functional and technical system requirements
- Committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen)
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in fast-paced manufacturing environments, resolving issues rapidly to support production continuity
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical, operational, and leadership levels
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities to meet project timelines effectively
