Job Summary
The ServiceNow Sr. Associate Developer is responsible for developing and configuring functionalities on the ServiceNow platform, adhering to best practices. This role involves creating and maintaining Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Notifications, as well as supporting workflow implementations and data modeling tasks. Collaboration with senior developers and architects is essential to support the delivery lifecycle. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, 2-4 years of ServiceNow experience, and knowledge of JavaScript and ITSM concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
- 2 – 4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and support
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, and XML
- Understanding of ITSM concepts and ServiceNow core processes
- Basic database knowledge, including simple queries and data structures
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
- Strong willingness to learn and continuously evolve technical skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- English proficiency: Intermediate
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with intermediate ServiceNow development and basic integrations
- Familiarity with Automated Test Framework (ATF)
- Knowledge of secure development standards and basic platform governance
- Previous experience supporting enterprise or consulting projects is a plus
- Fluency in both English & Portuguese
