Job Summary
Interpret and communicate the impact of new laws and regulations, and participate in industry associations to stay informed about changes in the insurance marketplace. Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and procedures related to market conduct and compliance, while conducting audits and monitoring regulatory software. Work with various functional areas to integrate compliance responsibilities throughout the organization and partner with business units to promote quality and customer satisfaction. Complete agent investigations, review potential AML transactions, and conduct regulatory research to prepare conclusions capturing legal requirements. Act as a liaison between the general counsel and functional areas, reporting current market conduct activities to senior management and assisting with product compliance initiatives as requested.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS in Business
- 5+ years of insurance industry experience
- 5 years in compliance related work
- outstanding organization and communication ability
- ability to work extremely well under pressure

- high level of integrity and credibility
- ability to maintain the confidence of senior management
- thorough knowledge of the insurance business and industry
- knowledge of company products, policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- graduate degree such as a JD
- 5 years in compliance related work preferred
- Advanced industry designations such as CLU or FLMI
