Job Summary
Interpret and communicate the impact of new laws and regulations, and participate in industry associations to stay informed about changes in the insurance marketplace. Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and procedures related to market conduct and compliance while monitoring adherence through regulatory software and audits. Conduct agent investigations and appointment reviews, review potential AML transactions, and complete regulatory research to prepare conclusions capturing legal requirements. Partner with business areas to improve persistency, quality, and customer satisfaction, and act as a liaison between functional areas and general counsel. Support regulatory inquiries, exams, and investigations, and report current market conduct activities to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS in Business
- 5+ years of insurance industry experience
- 5 years in compliance related work
- outstanding organization and communication ability
- ability to work extremely well under pressure

- high level of integrity and credibility
- ability to maintain the confidence of senior management
- thorough knowledge of the insurance business and industry
- knowledge of company products, policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- graduate degree such as a JD
- 5 years in compliance related work preferred
- Advanced industry designations such as CLU or FLMI
