Job Summary
Execute solid-phase oligomer and oligonucleotide synthesis using automated platforms, incorporating standard and chemically modified amidites as needed. Support RNA-related construct synthesis for discovery and platform development while optimizing workflows to improve yield, purity, and reproducibility. Perform purification via size-exclusion, anion-exchange, and reverse-phase chromatography, followed by characterization using LC-MS, HPLC/UPLC, and UV-Vis to confirm identity and quality. Analyze experimental results to recommend next steps for iterative chemistry design and maintain accurate laboratory records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance RGM Chemistry objectives. This role is based on-site at Regeneron Genetic Medicines.

- Minimum of 5 years with BS / 3 years with MS in relevant undergraduate research, internship, or industry experience
Desired Qualifications
- Masters degree
- Hands-on experience with solid-phase organic synthesis
- Familiarity with automated synthesis platforms such as MerMade, OligoSynt, or comparable oligonucleotide/oligomer synthesizers
- Experience with purification and analytical characterization methods, including SEC, AEX, RP-HPLC or RPIP-HPLC, and LC-MS
