Job Summary

Manage budgets, awarding policies, and compliance for Federal and State Campus-Based Programs, including Pell, SEOG, and CalGrant. Reconcile over $20 million annually in funding from award to disbursement, monitor fund usage, and prepare monthly reports for management. Supervise Financial Aid Counselors and an Administrative Assistant, defining responsibilities, monitoring performance, and administering personnel development. Advise students and families on aid availability, delivery processes, and reconciliation. Review applications, perform verification procedures, evaluate appeals, and intercede with Deans and Registrar. Coordinate self-audits, respond to external audit requests, and ensure SFS compliance with federal and state regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Considerable, progressive experience in higher educational financial aid administration

  • Four to six years of related experience with budget reconciliation
  • Proficiency in Title IV regulations
