Job Summary
Senior Asset Manager responsible for LIHTC/HOME/Housing Trust Fund program compliance, on-site audits and inspections, financial and operating reporting, lease analysis and set-aside management, and the oversight and mentorship of a team of asset managers within NYS HCR’s portfolio. The role involves developing recommendations to improve long-term financial and physical health of projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and coordinating with owners, managers, and internal systems (e.g., Prolink, SHARS, Samis) to manage income limits and rent maximums. The position supports hybrid work arrangements and is based in Buffalo, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of LIHTC compliance experience required*
- LIHTC Certifications required.
- 2 years minimum supervisory experience
- Ability to establish effective working relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
