Job Summary
A Senior Architectural Designer is responsible for leading architectural projects through Design, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding, and Construction Administration. Responsibilities include coordinating with other disciplines and the client, serving as main point of contact, assisting in scope and budget, providing full CA services, preparing proposals, and ensuring QC and adherence to client drafting standards. Requires eight years of experience as an Architectural Graduate or Project Coordinator, deep knowledge of building construction methods and codes, and ability to coordinate with PM/PA, AHJs, and peers, with duties spanning production of CDs/specifications, plans, details, and responding to comments and RFIs. Required Qualifications
- Eight (8) years of experience as an Architectural Graduate or Project Coordinator
- Thorough understanding of building construction methods and techniques
- Advanced knowledge of applicable codes
- Ability to maintain client standards and QC throughout projects
- Ability to serve as main point of contact for a project or run projects
- Experience with design, construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration
