Job Summary
Lead the planning and design process for healthcare projects, including hospitals, clinics, and specialized facilities, from conceptualization through construction administration. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative design concepts integrating evidence-based principles and sustainable practices. Oversee detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents while managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve technical issues, providing mentorship to junior staff. Prepare design proposals and feasibility studies for regulatory compliance. Moderate travel is expected; this full-time role operates in a hybrid schedule within Lawrence Group's Tampa office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution
- Licensed Architect
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare design and architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Revit
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to healthcare facilities (e.g., FGI Guidelines, ADA requirements)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to design excellence, sustainability, and innovation in healthcare architecture
- Moderate travel is expected for this position
Desired Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex healthcare projects from concept to completion
- Proficiency with Enscape
- Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software
- Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., AIA)
