Job Summary
Senior Applications Engineer responsible for supporting bulk material handling projects from quotation through design and implementation. Establish performance guidelines for air-powered material transfer systems; collaborate with sales and technical teams to identify optimal client solutions; work with Purchasing on equipment specifications and integration; manage multiple projects and quotations at various stages; provide sales support, estimating, and coordination to meet customer requirements; handle other assigned duties and occasional site visits. Office-based in Kansas City with a typical pattern of two remote days per week; occasional travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering/Design preferred
- 15-25 years direct experience in material handling systems
- Background as Applications Engineer, Sales Engineer, Estimator, or Project Manager
- Strong technical understanding of equipment, design, and execution
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Microsoft Excel and Word
