Job Summary
Assist WW customers with flow-setup, queries, and issues raised by them for Custom IC domain products involving Front End, Back End, Design Porting, and Tool Setup. Debug complex design cycle problems to enable customers to proceed, collaborate with Product R&D on defects and enhancements, and create technical artifacts for the Cadence Support Portal. Work across functions to optimize the support flow, identify product improvement initiatives, and author high-impact knowledge content. Provide post-sales technical consultation leveraging Virtuoso Schematic Editor, Layout Suite, and various Translators while maintaining a superior support experience.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronic or equivalent
- Bachelor/Master/PhD's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Embedded System Engineering
- 4-7 years of related experience
- Working knowledge & Hands on experience of Cadence or competitor or in-house EDA tools
- technical customer support problem-solving experience
- Must have excellent debugging skills
- ability to separate critical issues from trivial ones
- Must possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to establish a close working relationship with customers, peers, and management
- Explore what's possible to get the job done, including creative use of unconventional solutions
- Work effectively across functions and geographies
- Push to raise the bar while always operating with integrity
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Virtuoso Schematic Editor (L/XL)
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Virtuoso Analog Design Environment (Explorer, Assembler)
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Virtuoso Layout Suite (L/XL/GXL)
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Design Framework (DFII) Environment
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Various Translators
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Any Spice Simulator
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of PCells
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of OpenAccess
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Installation and Licensing
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Technology file
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of SKILL
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Customization
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Standard Cell or Library Characterization
- Applicable experience includes working product knowledge of Mixed Signal Simulation
