Sr. Analyst - Third Party Risk

Job Summary
Conduct risk assessments of existing and prospective third parties to identify key risks and assign overall risk grades. Support due diligence of current and prospective clients by coordinating with internal Subject Matter Experts to plan and execute diligence activities. Complete monitoring programs to ensure key risks are regularly monitored, including planning and executing annual on-site assessments of critical relationships. Document findings, follow up on identified issues and risk escalations, and keep management apprised through regular reporting. Maintain existing policy and procedure documentation for the third-party risk management program. This hybrid role supports First Century Bank's growth through FinTech partnerships, with up to 4 trips per year for 2-3 days each.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Risk management or related field
- At least 4 years of experience in a third-party risk management or similar role
- Strong understanding of third-party risk management best practices
- Basic understanding of financial services regulations including BSA, AML, UDAAP and NACHA rules
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills
- Project management skills
- Business analysis skills
- Critical thinking, including the ability to approach problems logically and make informed decisions based on data
- Availability to travel up to 4 times per year for 2-3 days for each trip
