Job Summary
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, quarterly estimates, and annual extensions while ensuring compliance with filing requirements. Support the preparation of ASC 740 tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations and account reconciliations. Oversee annual 1099 reporting processes and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain accurate vendor information and meet IRS deadlines. Identify process improvement opportunities and support the implementation of technology and automation solutions within the tax function. This role requires three to five years of tax experience and strong proficiency in Excel. Required Qualifications
- Three to five years previous tax experience
- Two+ years in public accounting or large corporate tax department
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize assignments, and meet critical and established deadlines
- Analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and adjust priorities in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Forward-thinking approach to technology and process optimization
Desired Qualifications
- Masters in Tax preferred
- Experience with accounting and tax software systems (Hyperion, SAP and Corptax)
