Job Summary
Coordinate, initiate, and maintain personnel security clearances in DISS, NBIS, eQIP, and SIMS systems. Collect fingerprints, verify briefing status for secure workspace access, and process domestic and foreign visit requests. Submit adverse information reports, track foreign travel for cleared employees, and facilitate classified meetings. Manage annual security training, insider threat briefings, and special briefings while providing proactive customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Operate in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM and corporate policies. This onsite role in Cedar Rapids, IA, supports the Clearance Administration Team within Collins Aerospace's Mission Systems division, ensuring secure communications and missionized systems for global customers.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance
- University Degree
- Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree
- Capability to obtain a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Onsite work in Cedar Rapids, IA
