Job Summary
Sr. Analyst at MUFG in Bengaluru responsible for tracing, reviewing and auditing trade finance documents, letters of credit, and related transactions; identifies risks in LC transactions, reconciles LC fees and postings, investigates customer inquiries within SLAs, and assists in preparing and recording issuances, amendments, and related trade finance correspondence across standby and commercial letters of credit, documentary collections, and supply chain finance. Requires experience in trade finance servicing, knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., UCP, URC, ISBP, OFAC, BSA, Patriot Act, SOX) and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; emphasizes integrity, adaptability, inclusivity, and leveraging technology to drive efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Experience within a complex financial services environment providing support for trade finance servicing, structuring trade deals and supply chain finance
- Basic understanding of financial products, accounting principles and compliance regulations
- Awareness of relevant regional bank policies, procedures and government regulatory agencies
- Understanding of trade financing reporting, reconciliation and audit mechanisms and tools
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate analytical, critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Integrity, adaptability, and collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in leveraging technology to achieve efficiency
- Ability to learn while doing
