Job Summary
Develop and execute detailed test cases to assess software functionality and performance using Inflectra's SpiraTest and codeless automation tools. Identify and document defects, bugs, and observations while evaluating test outcomes to ensure products meet established requirements. Collaborate with developers to review testing results and recommend solutions for quality control enhancements. Routinely review requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain test lab machines with relevant software updates. Adhere to QA standards and continuously improve testing processes as services evolve. This role supports the RTX Enterprise Services team in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, focusing on infrastructure quality assurance within the aerospace and defense sector.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Currently living in Puerto Rico
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with software development process and lifecycle
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Excel
- Experience with QA methodologies and practices
- Familiarity with testing tools like Jira or Confluence
- Must be able to travel to the Santa Isabel site location as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Basic familiarity of Azure Information Protection
- Familiarity with codeless automation tools
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools
- Capable of leading QA meetings
- Strong Windows troubleshooting skills
