Job Summary
Support the VP, Global Development and Manager, Global Development in development-focused due diligence for acquisitions and investments, assessing pipeline quality, project maturity, schedule realism, and development costs. Provide analytical support on development strategy, project prioritization, stage-gate discipline, and risk mitigation across the asset management portfolio. Own and improve the global development pipeline reporting process, including data collection, validation, and governance for quarterly and ad hoc delivery. Maintain a practical inventory of project development benchmarks and assumptions across key markets and technologies, identifying and sharing best practices, lessons learned, and tools with Asset Management. Lead or support priority development initiatives from initial problem definition through analysis and implementation, applying emerging technologies and AI-enabled workflows to improve team productivity. Build trusted relationships with asset management, investment professionals, and cross-functional peers to prepare clear materials for senior management and investment processes.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Finance, Environmental Studies, Engineering or relevant discipline
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience
- at least one (1) year in the energy industry
- preferably in a project development role
- Ability to develop and implement processes and reports
- Understanding of risks and mitigations to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in originating, developing, negotiating and/or structuring renewable energy projects
