Job Summary
Senior Cost Controller / Sr Analyst role focused on monitoring, forecasting, and reporting project costs and cash flows across a portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects in the US and Canada. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed cost forecasts, tracking expenditures and commitments, preparing EAC/ETC and cash flow forecasts, analyzing financial performance, supporting monthly reviews, managing commitments and change orders, aiding project financing activities and lender reporting, and contributing to PMO standardization. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and strong cost controls expertise; 5+ years of experience in cost control/project controls/financial analysis; proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling; ability to work across multi-project environments and communicate with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as AACE, CCP, PMP, CPA, or equivalent are considered an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control, project controls, project accounting, financial analysis, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting large-scale capital projects within renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Experience supporting utility-scale wind, solar, or BESS projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting project financing, capital planning, or large-scale project cash flow forecasting is considered an asset.
