Job Summary
The Sr. Analyst for Article Master Data Management is responsible for mentoring junior team members, managing data requests, and driving process improvements. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with SAP MDG or Oracle ERP, and expertise in data validation and governance. A bachelor's or master’s degree in commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain is essential, along with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills while ensuring data consistency across systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Article Master Data Management within a data operations environment
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end Article Master Data lifecycle management, including creation, modification, validation, and maintenance
- Proficiency in working with SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, or Oracle ERP systems for Article Master Data management
- Strong expertise in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness in Article Master Data records
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Merchandising, Supply Chain, Pricing, and IT to align Article Master Data processes with business needs
- Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and implement corrective actions
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in SAP MDG (not mandatory)
- SAP Functional certification (End User level) (not mandatory)
