Job Summary
Senior Analyst/Technical role focused on leading administration and support of the AVEVA PI Historian and its SCADA integrations. Design, implement, and maintain PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, and PI Vision to ensure accurate, secure, high‐quality operational data in a regulated natural gas distribution environment. Collaborate with Operations, OT, IT, and cybersecurity teams to ensure system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with SWG standards and security policies. Role is hands‐on and critical to supporting real‐time operations, safety, and reliability, including service to I/S customers, change management, testing, on‐call support, and continuous improvement across complex application components.
Required Qualifications
- Five to seven years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience
- Industry recognized certifications preferred
- Experience in SCADA/ICS within natural gas, energy, or other critical infrastructure
- Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills across SCADA applications, databases, OS, OT communications
- Ability to support mission-critical 24x7 operational systems in a regulated environment
- Systems testing and IT implementation experience
- Project management experience
- Utilities experience
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experience with cross-functional teams and process mapping
- Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements and processes
- Hands-on capability with PI Historian, PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex application interfaces and integrations
- On-call support and incident response
