Job Summary
Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and following the software development lifecycle. Direct system installation and upgrades while determining system specifications and requirements. Collaborate with the Joint Development Team to ensure work aligns with the CLIENT's IT roadmap and stakeholder requirements. Improve system performance through systems analysis and policy recommendations. Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues. This remote role requires a Senior AI Software Engineer with 5-10 years of experience, DHS or FEMA clearance, and expertise in PERN stacks, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- DHS or FEMA clearance
- 5-10 years of experience
- Software development, scripting, and project management
- Scrum/Agile development methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases
- Hands-on experience developing applications using multiple frameworks
- Proficiency in software engineering tools and in software architecture
- Proficiency in full stack development approaches and programming languages such as PERN (a cohesive collection of technologies that includes PostgreSQL, Express. js, React, and Node. Js) and infrastructure coding tools such as Terraform
- Expertise in managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Git-based code management
- Experience integrating observability tools into software engineering efforts
