Job Summary
As a Principal Agentic Engineer at MGT Insurance, you will lead the design and implementation of multi-agent systems using LLMs and vector databases to create intelligent automation. Your responsibilities will include developing reasoning capabilities for complex insurance workflows, designing observability frameworks, and implementing rigorous testing strategies. You will establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with insurance regulations while collaborating with engineering and data science teams to enhance self-directed insurance platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in software engineering with AI/ML deployment patterns
- Experience with automated decision-making processes compliant with insurance regulations
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI systems
Desired Qualifications
- Deep expertise in AI agents, LLMs, and autonomous system architectures
- Expertise in LLMs and Agent Frameworks including OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, LangChain, CrewAI, or similar platforms for building autonomous AI systems
- Strong software engineering background with proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and modern AI/ML deployment patterns including vector databases, embedding systems, and real-time inference
- Experience with agent architecture patterns including ReAct, function calling, multi-agent coordination, and tool use frameworks for complex workflow automation
