Job Summary
Sr. AEM Architect to lead design, governance, and implementation of enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Manager platforms. Serve as technical authority across development teams, bridging business requirements with platform capabilities, mentoring engineers, and driving best practices. Responsibilities include designing end-to-end AEM architectures for multi-site, multi-tenant, multilingual deployments; defining content architecture and metadata schemas; architecting reusable components and templates; leading AEM Cloud Service migration and integrations with Adobe Experience Cloud and third-party systems; overseeing the AEM codebase, establishing standards, and implementing CI/CD pipelines; configuring Dispatcher and CDN; ensuring security, performance, and governance; collaborating with Product Owners, UX designers, and stakeholders; producing ADRs, design docs, runbooks, and onboarding guides; evaluating third-party integrations and emerging Adobe technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years focused on Adobe Experience Manager (formerly CQ5/CRX)
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering at least 3 large-scale AEM implementations from discovery through production
- Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) including Cloud Manager pipelines, environment management, and migration tooling
- Technical Proficiencies: AEM Platform (AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, Screens, Commerce); OSGi (Apache Felix); Sling; JCR (Apache Jackrabbit Oak); HTL (Sightly); Sling Models; Workflows; Launchers; Schedulers; Event Handlers
- Dev & Ops Stack: Java 25; Maven; Git; Docker; Kubernetes; Adobe Cloud Manager; CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps); REST/GraphQL APIs; Adobe I/O Runtime; New Relic; Splunk; Datadog
