Job Summary
Senior Actuarial Analyst role shaping ConcertoCare’s growth by building actuarial models and studies to guide pricing, forecasting, and value-based care contract performance. Responsibilities include designing medical expense studies, analyzing results for adverse trends, coordinating with IT on data ingestion and reconciliation, informing financial forecasts with actuarially sound analyses, supporting business development and structuring risk-sharing arrangements, building models (AI tooling given extra consideration), and enhancing predictive analytics and proprietary clinical algorithms to optimize outcomes. Requires ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders and manage multiple fast-paced projects while integrating industry standards and external trend information to support performance targets. Ideal candidate balances creativity with actuarial discipline and maintains strong cross-functional relationships with market leadership, clinical operations, IT, and finance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial studies, statistics, or related field preferred
- Progress towards Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- 2-5 years of experience in healthcare actuarial field with understanding of health insurance product design (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Reserving/forecasting experience
- Value-based contracting modeling experience preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Databricks, SQL, SAS or similar tooling
- AI experience is a plus
