Job Summary
Sr, Accounting Systems Analyst responsible for administration, maintenance, and optimization of financial systems (primarily Workday Financials) to ensure data integrity and enable accurate US GAAP reporting. Leads translation of finance requirements into system solutions, configurations, and automations (workflows, data enrichments, validations, and integration logic). Interfaces with internal departments to define reporting needs, owns delivery and ongoing support of processes and data pipelines, and serves as a primary Accounting Center/Financial Administrator. Maintains data models, reconciliations, and COSO-controlled processes; develops reporting in PRISM and WD Financials; leads requirements refinement, documentation, testing, stakeholder coordination, and user support; supports audit requests; stays current with industry trends and intelligent process automation. Provides leadership in data querying/enrichment (SQL, Python), integration tooling, and optimization of recurring financial transactions and analytics. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, MIS required; 3-5 years ERP/financial systems analysis experience (Workday preferred); mortgage/financial services experience preferred; Workday pro-certification a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, management information systems, or similar required
- Minimum of Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience with accounting, financial, and ERP systems analysis (Workday financial preferred)
- Experience in Mortgage or financial services industry preferred
- Workday pro-certification is a plus (record-to-report, supplier accounts, accounting center, prism, business processes, security, integrations, etc.)
- Advanced working knowledge of data querying and data enrichment and translations (e.g. SQL, Python)
- Extensive working knowledge of large cloud ERP software (Workday Financials preferred) and other accounting or reporting applications (e.g. Costar, Concur Expense, Workiva, Kyriba)
