Job Summary
Compile, analyze, and report financial data while performing audits and resolving discrepancies for third-party services. Maintain effective internal controls to ensure transactions follow company policies and are properly reflected on financial statements. Act as a business partner to cross-functional teams in retail, marketing, supply chain, and operations to understand financial impacts of business decisions. Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes and workflows, then lead or participate in related projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Complete month-end close duties accurately and timely, including recording, variance analysis, and journal entry approvals. Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a culture of continuous learning. Requires an active CPA license, Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and minimum three years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively communicate across various organizational levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- Minimum 3 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced understanding and knowledge in accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite is a big plus, etc.).
- Accounting and/or finance experience in the eCommerce and/or Consumer Product Goods (CPG)/ Supply Chain industry.
