Job Summary
Develop and enhance timely, accurate financial reporting and analysis while ensuring compliance with GAAP. Maintain an accurate vendor master database in Oracle EBS, assist in monthly financial statement close processes, and support the Controller in developing account analysis. Enter asset records in Sage, gather data for audit requests, and manage sales tax reporting compliance with the Manager, Tax. Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, participate in continuous improvement and 5S standards, and follow all safety and ISO procedures. This temporary-to-hire role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or corporate environment, with proficiency in Oracle EBS and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 3-5 years practical experience in either an operating/product-driven company, public accounting company, or mix
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, especially Excel
- Operation in an ERP environment
- Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form
- Must be able to communicate complex financial information to executives and other team members
- Results driven personality but with ability to work with others diplomatically across all levels of the organization
- Good time management skills to complete assigned accounting tasks accurately and on schedule, while supporting the team's daily operations
- Someone who defines success based on problems solved and improvements made
- Hands-on with willingness to dig into detail to understand root causes and solve problems
- Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form
- Must be professional and courteous in internal and external communications
- Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required
- Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates
